Blue Ocean Learning Center partners with homeschooling families to deliver American Classical and Biblical worldview education AND career training in over 16 career clusters.
Our strategic partnerships help us do all of this at a fraction of the cost of elite private schools.

In-Person Instruction

Part-Time In-Person Directed Learning, so your child can succeed with a focus on the Principled Approach, NOAH Education, and CTE-16 and STE(A)M Curriculum and Labs!

Virtual Real Time Learning

Part-Time Virtual Directed Learning. Your child will be connected with their teachers for their daily lessons, even when they are not scheduled to learn in-person. Online labs are delivered for continued CTE-16 and STE(A)M Education!

At-Your-Own-Pace Learning

At-Your-Own-Pace Learning is available for select courses and electives so your child can work on their interests at their own pace. Online and in-person labs are Available and scheduled regularly for more hands-on projects.

Reflection and Connections

Self-paced and directed processes Like reflections, renew and review processes for those 'not making the grade'. Leadership tutorials and connections with corporate mentors elevate your child's education and connect them with potential employers!

We don’t succeed until your child succeeds. We work to ensure they are prepared for higher learning and life through critical thinking skills, connections with secondary education institutions and employers, and more!

Many families begin homeschooling in the early grades only to enroll their children in conventional education in Middle or High School in order to provide their children a broader experience and so that Mom doesn’t have to teach Chemistry and Pre-calculus!

By partnering with us, your child will have a complete education from Kindergarten to career, and graduate with marketable job certifications or an Associate’s Degree – virtually debt free!

We encourage dual-enrollment starting in grade 10. Our V.A.L.U.E. Proposition* ensures your child finds the career they love. Our program unites that passion with business partners who will support higher education and employment co-ops to avoid the costly burden of education loans.

Every child will engage in service and leadership roles. Our mission is to prepare members for higher learning and the workforce. Volunteer and Leadership (V&L) is an inclusive, school requirement designed for students to volunteer; engage in academia to earn credentials that promote leadership roles; unite students, schools, and businesses; which ultimately bring employment leads. We deliver a step-by-step success-building program engaging all students, grades 6-16, regardless of specific interests, post-graduate goals or academic status.

Whole Child – Whole Community

The typical school experience segregates children by age and grade. Age segregation creates a problem with social development – children become too dependent on their peers, and have difficulty communicating with people outside of their age group. That’s not how the real world operates!

We believe that the whole child is developed when the child in integrated into the whole community.

We do this in three ways:

Through our in-class mentorship program,
Kingdom Knight Fellowship,
and through our Volunteer and Leadership progrom; where even the youngest student can serve their community

In every on campus class, and during at home days, each student will have access to their teacher, a parent mentor, and a member of the community such as a business professional or veteran. We believe that daily involvement with the community will increase learning and help your child develop important social skills.

Kingdom Knight Fellowship brings together our Blue Ocean Learning Center Community, Pastors, and businesses and vocations. It’s another way we encourage students to build social and professional networks with their family.

Volunteer and Leadership is the heart of Blue Ocean Learning Center. V&L brings together the student body, parents, and business mentors to work on projects that serve our local churches, the community and businesses. This integrates students into the community and increases connections and references for employment and college.
